Suvq Eyiveiq (/suʋkx ɛi'vɛik/; sook ay-VAKE) was an island on Etheros.

Unknown to the residents of Suvq Eyiveiq, they rest on a landmass that cannot be tracked down due to the magical after effects of moons' corruption on their soil. The island becomes impossible to see from the outside and a tugging compulsion to turn around and leave digs into the mind of those that attempt to approach the island in essence like the opposite of a siren's song. The Ritvinians and Ousuolsons are unaffected by this persuasion due to their years of existence upon the island, and instead believe that they must be the only sentient creatures that reside upon a fairly barren world.

Two races have grown here, yet in their eyes they are of the same land and view each other as sister races, and as a result have had little major disputes with each other. Given the physiology of the Ritvinians in the pre great darkness era of eros, They struggled greatly with remaining in the sunlight, and their sensitive skin and eyes lead them to preferring the comfort of their cave homes, and the pursuit of ingenuity so they might one day leave and see the most assuredly barren world beyond them that they believe must exist for if not, would it not stand to reason that some other species would have made contact with them?

Suvq eyiveiq experiences unique weather phenomena in the fact that for one month in the year, the island experiences no light from the sun. Due to this phenomena, the Ritvinians will often take opportunity of this time to exit their caves and join up with the Ousuolsons in joyous festivals, sharing the knowledge they have learned and in turn enjoying the arts and food from the surface of the island. Both races owe a lot of their existence to each other, and although they rarely interact with the Ousuolsons for 11 months in the year, they hold a great deal of respect and admiration for each other and look forward longingly to the Brightest Night

The Long Day is a phenomenon on the flip side where the island experiences a month of perpetual sunlight and exposure. During this time the Ousuolsons often find themselves the most inspired and productive, sleeping far less and spending as much time in the company of one another,

Ritvinians

The cave people

Deep sunken eyes, and extremely pale skin. Very sensitive to sunlight.

Usually hunt around underground caves, and farm various forms of fungi, herd large insects, and occasionally dive deep for fish.

Because of their physiology they are well suited to swimming and cave crawling

The Ritvinians spend most of their time mastering the art of selective breeding and in their own right slowly become masters of insect genetic mutations, creating various insectoid breeds to accomplish various different tasks

Using their limited magical abilities they are able to use light polymorphic abilities to transform and develop these breeds further and rapidly to meet the needs of their society

As the ages progress and their knowledge of the genome increases they eventually develop the means to influence the genetic code of organisms in vitro, enabling them to become further resistant to the harsh conditions of space while allowing the Ritvinians to keep them fed and oxygenated from inside their bodies, creating a being thats existent is meant to be symbiotic with the Ritvinians.

Ousuolsons

The Islanders

Bright and colorful scales adorn their body with thin and limber bodies. They have very bright and colorful yellow and green eyes, with a smaller black iris at the center of them

Generally a more peaceful and calmer bunch, the Ousuolsons are known as a very creative species

Subsiding generally upon the fish in the surrounding tropics that are stuck within the lagoon, as well as fruits.

The Ousuolsons are far more childish in nature and tend to avoid
